Namitha's Biography.....
Namitha was born in Surat, on May 10th, 1981 in Surat, Gujarath, India. Namitha is a punjabi later christened and changed her name to Namita Mukesh Vankawala. But she is famous by name Namitha.
Namitha graduated from Ratnam Arts College, Surat.
Before entering into films Namitha contested for beauty pageants and also won the Miss Surat crown in 1998 and also participated in the Femina Miss India contest in 2001 and got 4th place.
Namitha's Film Career...
Namitha entered the glamorous world of cinema with Telugu movie "SONTHAM" in Tollywood.
Her entry into Tamil film industry was through the Movie "Engal Anna" in 2004.
Later she also acted in Malayalam movies as well as an English movie called 'Maya'.
Namitha's career does not start well in movies but later she improved her acting and now she is the heartthrob of many in south India especially Kollywood (Tamil nadu).
